MyEcare Find My Nearest
We built a custom WordPress Plugin that allows users to find their nearest optician based on what enhanced services they provide.
At the heart of this plugin is the UK postcode geolocation. This generates the latitude and longitude necessary to be able to plot the locations on a map. We also incorporated the post code geolocation in to the admin side of the plugin. This performs the geolocation at the point the site administrator enters the postcode and instantly shows the location on a map.
